Basilik restaurant is a place we designed as a Steakhouse in Etiler, Istanbul. The main purpose of the space, which is located in one of the most valuable regions of Istanbul in terms of location, was to combine luxury and elegance.
We have properly combined functions such as cold storage, cooking, and grilling in kitchen planning.
It was necessary to create open and closed areas and to overcome the technical difficulties arising from the floor heights of the building. The air channels created by overflowing from the main mass allowed us to solve these difficulties. The number of the guests to be hosted was commercially satisfying, however, it was too many for the space, therefore this case was one of the factors that awaited a solution, and this need was accordingly met with good planning.
